Preferred skills and experience:

  • City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 Award in Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross Cutting (Formerly CS30)
  • City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 Award in Ground Based Chainsaw Operator (Formerly CS30 & CS31)
  • City & Guilds NPTC Level 3 Award in Felling & Processing Trees over 380mm (Formerly CS32)
  • City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 Award in Tree Climbing and Rescue (Formerly CS38)
  • City & Guilds NPTC Level 3 Award in Aerial Cutting of Trees with a Chainsaw using Free Fall techniques (Formerly CS39)
  • CSCS Skilled worker card
  • Full clean Driving Licence
  • Proven industry experience in practical arboriculture
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Punctual and reliable
  • The ability to follow instructions

E M Pell & Partners Ltd is looking to hire an Operative who is competent in operating ride on mowers, strimmers, and other tools required to maintain highway verges.

The role will be based in Northamptonshire and works will take place on the highway network.

Work will be outdoors in all weather conditions.

  • Ability to handle tools and machinery

  • Full NPTC, Lantra, or equivalent certification

E M Pell & Partners Ltd are currently seeking experienced and competent Traffic Management Operative to work within our team on a full-time basis.

The role will involve the deployment of cones, signs, frames, sandbags and other Traffic Management equipment from a vehicle on both High Speed (>50 mph) and Low Speed roads.

Successful candidates will be expected to work all year round in all weathers. This is a manual position where you will be required to be physically fit to undertake all aspects of the role.

We are looking for individuals who are professional, reliable, punctual, team players and who will maintain our high standards and quality of work.

The right candidates must be hard working, motivated and have good communication skills.

Salary based on qualifications and experience.

  • Full clean Driving Licence
  • Minimum of 3 years practical experience within the Traffic Management industry.
  • Minimum Lantra 12D M1/M2 qualified.
